About the Role
This opening is presented on behalf of a partner company managing all application procedures and follow-ups. They are seeking a PMO Analyst to be based in Germany. The role focuses on supporting strategic transformation efforts, helping organizations translate plans into measurable outcomes by providing structure, deep insights, and project coordination across diverse portfolios and programs.
This position blends analytical expertise, project management skills, process enhancement, and stakeholder collaboration. Working closely with consultants and client teams, the analyst will strive to refine delivery practices and enable successful business results within an international consulting framework, entirely remote.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to portfolios and programs to facilitate strategic choices.
- Assist with portfolio planning, prioritization, governance, and alignment with strategic goals.
- Create dashboards, reports, and presentations to relay progress, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics.
- Monitor benefits realization to ensure initiatives achieve business value.
- Coordinate milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and key activities across multiple projects.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of PMO frameworks, tools, templates, and workflows.
- Support project scheduling, resource management, reporting, and accuracy of project data.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to boost efficiency and consistency.
- Facilitate change management through communication coordination, stakeholder updates, and adoption support.
- Develop documentation, playbooks, and knowledge resources for improved team alignment.
- Maintain PMO repositories and knowledge bases to ensure they are up-to-date and accessible.
- Engage in project retrospectives and propose ideas for continuous enhancements.
- Collaborate with consultants, project leaders, and client stakeholders to contribute to successful transformation outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Between 3 to 6+ years of experience in project management, PMO functions, portfolio support, or closely related fields.
- Background in consulting, transformation, or handling complex projects is advantageous.
- Advanced analytical abilities including data analysis, metric tracking, reporting, and visualization expertise.
- Proficiency in project and portfolio management software such as Planview, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, Power BI, or comparable tools.
- Solid knowledge of project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Capability to balance detailed focus with awareness of broad strategic objectives.
- Strong organizational skills enabling management of several priorities and deadlines concurrently.
- Proactive approach to identifying issues and ownership of solutions.
- Comfortable working collaboratively across multifunctional teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Preferred certifications include PMP, CAPM, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with transformation frameworks or similar methodologies is a plus.
