Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our team at the Cambridge Depot in Tasmania. This role involves operating specialized heavy plant and equipment to assist electrical line crews across Tasmania, predominantly during regular Monday to Friday shifts with occasional overtime.
Key Duties
- Operate various plant machinery and equipment in support of electrical line maintenance teams.
- Assist with general yard duties to facilitate daily operational needs.
- Complete tasks punctually while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in similar construction or utility-related roles.
- Proficient in operating heavy plant and machinery.
- Holds a current HR driver's license.
- Possesses required high-risk work licenses including C2 Crane, Forklift, and Dogging.
- Holds a valid Blue or White Card (Occupational Health and Safety Construction Induction Card).
