Job Summary
We are seeking a Planning and Scheduling Head to oversee and coordinate all planning and scheduling activities for Routine Maintenance across all operational areas. This includes Preventive, Corrective, and Predictive Maintenance performed by the contractor. The Head will lead the contractor’s maintenance planning section, offering technical expertise and solutions. This position reports to the Contractor Site Manager, with the planning team as direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive long-term maintenance plans.
- Track and gather system data for management review.
- Propose strategies for resource optimization.
- Contribute to the budgeting process for all plant maintenance.
- Analyze actual versus budgeted maintenance expenditures and recommend corrective actions to mitigate discrepancies.
- Generate monthly reports detailing work plans and significant completed activities, and participate in regular maintenance department meetings.
- Monitor the performance of the Maintenance Planning section against established KPIs.
- Review and present manpower planning strategies.
- Liaise with operations, services, and the company maintenance department on planning-related matters.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with over 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance, OR a Diploma with over 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
- Demonstrated supervision and leadership capabilities within Oil & Gas maintenance planning, particularly in large organizational structures.
- Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, and excellent communication abilities.
- Sound judgment under pressure and a proven ability to solve problems.
- Capacity for strategic thinking and openness to new concepts.
- Ability to achieve business objectives within a multicultural setting.
