Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Pitney Bowes Developer with comprehensive experience in Pitney Bowes platforms including EngageOne Designer and Generate, Dataflow/Spectrum, SQL Server, and Automate BPA. The role involves creating, enhancing, and supporting enterprise-level document composition and customer communication solutions. Candidates must demonstrate thorough SQL development capabilities and adeptness in optimizing database performance, along with the ability to function autonomously throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft, enhance, and maintain solutions using Pitney Bowes EngageOne Designer and Generate.
- Develop and manage Dataflow/Spectrum and Automate BPA implementations.
- Create, optimize, and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex queries for SQL Server databases.
- Improve database efficiency through query and procedure tuning.
- Support and maintain large-scale SQL Server environments.
- Produce technical design documentation and support development records.
- Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to capture and interpret requirements.
- Handle troubleshooting, bug resolution, and production support tasks effectively.
- Contribute to software testing, deployment, and rollout processes.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and project deadlines.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Over five years of experience in Pitney Bowes development and SQL programming.
- Proficient in Pitney Bowes tools: EngageOne Designer, EngageOne Generate, Dataflow/Spectrum, Automate BPA.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server development including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and query optimization.
- Experience managing large relational databases and enterprise systems.
- Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
Preferred Skills
- Background in banking, insurance sectors, or large-scale document management initiatives.
- Experience with batch processing and workflow automation solutions.
- Familiarity with production support and release management cycles.
- Participation in Agile or Scrum development environments.
Additional Information
The role is based onsite in Singapore under a contractual employment agreement provided by PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd, a licensed employment agency.
