Job description
Role overview
A private practice is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist who can communicate fluently in Mandarin and/or Cantonese. The position is full-time and based across clinic locations in Chatswood, Rhodes, Hurstville, and Burwood. Both newly qualified physiotherapists and experienced clinicians are encouraged to apply, and there are two openings available across private practice and community-based settings.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out detailed first assessments of patients’ physical status and design treatment plans tailored to each individual.
- Apply therapeutic exercises, hands-on treatment methods, and clinical modalities to support rehabilitation and recovery.
- Track patient progress, review outcomes, and revise care plans when needed to achieve the best possible results.
- Guide patients and their families on exercise routines, lifestyle adjustments, and strategies to help prevent injuries.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient management.
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation and treatment notes.
- Stay engaged in ongoing learning, training, and professional development to remain up to date with current practices and emerging therapies.
Requirements
- Completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Solid understanding of rehabilitation approaches and exercise-based programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with patients and healthcare colleagues.
- Previous clinical experience, ideally gained in a hospital or rehabilitation environment.
- Capacity to work autonomously while also contributing well within a team.
- A strong commitment to continual professional growth and improving patient outcomes.
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
