This is a full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) with potential for flexible hours and occasional weekend hospital work. The role is diverse and rewarding, encompassing private orthopaedic hospital duties, aged care, clinic-based physiotherapy, and vocational rehabilitation. You will provide care to clients throughout the Nelson Tasman region in various settings including homes, workplaces, rest homes, and community environments. The position involves working across multiple services such as Concussion Services, Training for Independence, Vocational Rehabilitation, and Assessment Services. Significant opportunities for professional development are available, including potential pathways into leadership or hand therapy, and increased involvement in community-based physiotherapy and home visits.
Key Tasks
- Conducting client assessments and formulating individualized treatment plans.
- Delivering physiotherapy services in a variety of community and clinical settings.
- Collaborating effectively within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting using Gensolve software.
- Guiding clients through their recovery process and promoting long-term well-being.
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues, funders, and employers.
- Participating in team meetings, contributing to service development, and engaging in training.
You will be supported by an experienced Clinic Manager and integrated into our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.

Applications are welcomed from all experience levels, including new graduates and senior clinicians. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a diverse caseload across multiple service areas. While ACC experience is advantageous, it is not essential as comprehensive training and support will be provided.
