Job description
Overview
Axis Therapy & Performance is seeking a Physiotherapist for its Mississauga location. The clinic emphasizes long-term professional growth, a supportive team environment, and structured development rather than simply filling schedules. This role is suited to clinicians who want to build a strong caseload while also strengthening their clinical reasoning, communication, leadership, and overall professional confidence.
Both newly graduated and experienced physiotherapists are welcome to apply. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative setting with strong administrative backing, mentorship, and opportunities to contribute to team development and community involvement.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Clinic Director, the Physiotherapist will provide high-quality care, build strong client relationships, and work alongside a multidisciplinary team. The position is centered on evidence-informed treatment, client education, and ongoing learning.
Key Duties
- Provide excellent, evidence-based physiotherapy care tailored to each client.
- Create trusting client relationships and help set clear treatment goals.
- Teach clients about their condition and support them throughout recovery.
- Work closely with practitioners from other disciplines in a team setting.
- Take part in mentorship, internal development activities, and community initiatives.
Growth and Development
The clinic has grown from one location to seven across the GTA, supported by more than 100 team members and over 4,000 five-star reviews. More than 100,000 treatment sessions are delivered each year. The organization places strong emphasis on structured mentorship, leadership pathways, and helping clinicians advance into future roles such as Clinic Director, Lead Therapist, and Partner.
Development resources include a 12-week onboarding program, a proprietary movement-based assessment framework, in-house acupuncture and dry needling certification, clinical mentorship meetings, quarterly skills sessions, marketing support, leadership training, and continuing education funding.
What the Clinic Offers
- Competitive fee split compensation model.
- Casual athletic dress code.
- Funding for continuing education.
- Ongoing mentorship and leadership development.
- In-house support for marketing and personal branding.
- Dedicated administrative support from front desk teams.
- Access to an on-site gym.
- Discounts on staff treatment services.
- Mental health coverage through Inkblot.
- Referral bonus incentives for staff.
- Quarterly social events, including yacht parties, BBQs, and formal holiday gala/awards celebrations.
- Discounts with partner vendors such as SPOT Pet Insurance, Goodlife, and Empire Custom Tailored Suits.
Additional Information
The organization highlights its belief that a great first job should shape a meaningful career. Its front desk and administrative teams are positioned as part of the care team, helping with scheduling, recalls, client experience, and rebooking so clinicians can focus on patient care. The workplace values positivity, curiosity, ambition, and a team-first mindset.
Applicants should be ready to grow beyond treatment delivery, contribute to the broader goals of the organization, and develop the skills needed to lead, mentor, and create new opportunities for themselves and others.
