Job Objective

The role focuses on planning, overseeing, and delivering superior physiotherapy services to patients, aiming to enhance their functional independence through comprehensive evaluation, tailored treatment plans, implementation, and assessment. Effective documentation and collaboration within the interdisciplinary team are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain detailed information about the patient's current condition and assess their functional status.
  • Develop, execute, and evaluate individualized treatment strategies.
  • Ensure safe, effective discharge planning for patients receiving home care.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance skills.
  • Implement departmental policies and actively participate in organizational meetings and team initiatives.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions for staff, assistants, volunteers, and supervise physiotherapy students with regular feedback and documentation.
  • Manage and maintain accurate physiotherapy service records, including timely documentation within 24 hours and entry into the Hospital Information System (HIS).
  • Communicate patient progress with consulting physicians and provide home care discharge instructions.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including infection control, patient handling, emergency procedures, and equipment maintenance to ensure a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Promote quality improvement practices through participation in education, supervision sessions, and implementation of departmental initiatives.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Chairman of the Institute of Neurosciences.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree in any specialization.
