- Explain assessments and treatment plans clearly and secure informed patient consent before care is delivered.
- Offer screening assessments, patient education, and orthotic recommendations in a direct-access setting such as CDU walk-ins.

- Use pain-management approaches, which may include acupuncture-based techniques below the dermis.
- Provide ergonomics guidance, including workplace assessments conducted on site.
- Educate patients and healthcare team members on topics such as injury prevention and health promotion.
- Carry out biomechanical foot assessments, including orthotics fitting and fabrication.
- Help develop and deliver clinic programs related to education and rehabilitation, such as proprioceptive rehabilitation, reintegration, and back-pain self-management.
- Take part in multidisciplinary care discussions, clinical rounds, patient conferences, and follow-up scheduling.
- Complete clinical documentation for every patient interaction in line with Canadian Forces and provincial regulatory record-keeping requirements.
Requirements
- Active physiotherapy licence in good standing in Manitoba.
- At least 1 year of experience in orthopedics or sports medicine.

- Valid Standard First Aid certificate and Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers, or an equivalent credential such as CPR/AED Level C.
- Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level.
