Role Summary

This Physician Recruiter position is a full-time opportunity based on-site in Orlando, Florida, with some flexibility around location. The person in this role will help identify, engage, and hire physicians and physician investors who fit the surgery center’s clinical standards and workplace culture.

What You Will Do

  • Source physician candidates through a range of recruitment channels.
  • Carry out early-stage screening and evaluate candidate fit.
  • Set up and coordinate interviews throughout the hiring process.
  • Oversee the offer stage and guide onboarding activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, residency programs, and professional associations.
  • Monitor recruitment performance metrics and share updates with leadership.
  • Work with clinical and administrative teams to understand hiring needs and workforce priorities.
  • Help create a positive candidate experience that supports patient care goals.

Qualifications

  • Substantial background in healthcare staffing and recruiting, preferably in clinical or ambulatory care environments.
  • Proven experience with hiring workflows, including evaluating candidates, arranging interviews, and negotiating offers.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities for building rapport with physicians and internal teams.
  • Comfort working across multidisciplinary groups while managing several searches at the same time.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and basic healthcare HR compliance practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a similar field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience recruiting physicians or advanced practice providers is preferred.
  • Well-developed organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to fair, non-discriminatory hiring.
