Job Overview
Octapharma Saudi Arabia is recruiting a Pharmacovigilance Associate to be positioned in Riyadh. This full-time onsite role involves supporting the Pharmacovigilance division in handling drug safety data and ensuring compliance with Saudi Food & Drug Authority (SFDA) standards. The workweek spans Sunday through Thursday during typical office hours. The opportunity is open to Saudi nationals who meet SFDA eligibility criteria.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and processing reports of adverse drug reactions
- Support documentation and accurate entry of pharmacovigilance case data
- Maintain and update pharmacovigilance records and databases
- Contribute to literature reviews and preparation of safety reports
- Ensure adherence to SFDA pharmacovigilance regulatory requirements
- Participate in ongoing pharmacovigilance training and quality improvement activities
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Valid certification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Arabic and English communication
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Competent with Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn pharmacovigilance procedures
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Familiarity with Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP) or SFDA pharmacovigilance regulations
- Holding a pharmacovigilance-specific certification is advantageous
