Pharmacist

Position Overview

We are seeking a diligent Pharmacist to join our team in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The role involves coordinating effectively with doctors and patients, dispensing medications accurately, and maintaining pharmacy records. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that medicines are stored securely and appropriately and that prescriptions are handled precisely.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients to ensure proper medication usage.
• Maintain direct eye contact during patient interactions to provide attentive service.
• Advise patients on correct medication dosage and the best form of medicine administration.
• Dispense medicines accurately according to prescriptions and ensure correct billing procedures.
• Maintain and update Pharmacy and Stock Registers regularly.
• Manage prescriptions and verify before dispensing medicines to patients or guests.
• Monitor and manage medicine storage conditions, including temperature control.
• Raise requisition orders to the pharmacy stores and ensure timely restocking of medicines in designated racks.
• Organize medicines by categorizing look-alike and sound-alike drugs using color codes.
• Identify and segregate high-risk and high-alert medications appropriately using color coding for safety.

Remuneration

The salary range for this position is between 12,000 and 14,000 INR per month.
