Role overview

This full-time, on-site teaching position is for a Post Graduate Teacher in English based in Madhya Pradesh, India. The role focuses on delivering strong academic instruction to senior secondary students while supporting their overall growth, participation, and confidence in the subject.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English to senior secondary classes in line with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare and execute lesson plans that address different learning needs and encourage active class participation and analytical thinking.
• Evaluate student learning through both ongoing and final assessments, and offer helpful feedback to support improvement.
• Build a supportive classroom culture that promotes respect, teamwork, and interest in learning.
• Take part in teacher training, school meetings, and discussions with parents to strengthen student outcomes and teaching practices.
• Encourage participation in English and literature-based clubs, competitions, and school events.
• Work closely with fellow teachers to improve the English curriculum and exchange effective teaching practices.

Qualifications and experience

The ideal candidate should hold a master’s degree in English or a closely related discipline from a recognized university, along with a mandatory B.Ed degree. A strong grasp of written and spoken English is essential, as is solid knowledge of literature, language studies, and linguistic concepts. Candidates should also have at least 3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school. Experience improving student engagement and outcomes, using modern teaching methods, and integrating technology into the classroom will be an added advantage.
