Role Overview

Based in Doha, Qatar, this on-site, full-time Pet Groomer position involves performing routine grooming duties such as washing, drying, trimming, brushing, and styling the coats of various pets while maintaining their safety and comfort. Daily tasks include pet check-in procedures, consulting with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences, and advising on fitting grooming choices and products. The groomer will also be vigilant in detecting any signs of distress or health issues in pets, ensuring the grooming area is kept clean and sanitary, and adhering strictly to safety and hygiene standards. Additionally, the role entails delivering polite customer service, managing appointments, and collaborating with colleagues to foster efficient workflow and a welcoming environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in animal care and welfare, capable of managing pets gently and securely.
• Practical experience in pet grooming tasks including bathing, brushing, cutting, and foundational grooming skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities to maintain professional and clear interaction with clients and team members.
• Familiarity with grooming tools and equipment, basic understanding of pet health and hygienic grooming processes.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods, safely lift animals, and thrive in a busy workplace.
