About the Role
An expanding insurance claims business is looking for a Personal Injury Claims Handler to join its growing injury claims function. The position focuses on a portfolio of injury-related matters across motor, fleet, and private client business. You will help support a team that handles complex claims connected to the relationship between MGAs and insurers.
Key Responsibilities
You will manage claims from the point they are reported through investigation and resolution, while coordinating with different stakeholders and using various claims systems. The role also includes supporting junior colleagues through mentoring where required.
Required Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience handling personal injury claims in Ireland, along with a strong grasp of settlement processes and exposure to litigation. You should be comfortable working with key insurance databases and systems, and able to handle a high claims volume efficiently.
Additional Expectations
This role typically involves managing claims with an average lifecycle of around 60 days, while damage settlements often close within 28 to 30 days. Experience handling between 150 and 200 claims per handler is considered desirable. Candidates should be based in Dublin or be open to a hybrid working arrangement.
