About the role
The Mount Pleasant branch is looking for an energetic, authentic team member to join a friendly branch team. This role may suit someone wanting to begin a career in finance or someone seeking a healthier work-life balance.
In this position, you will deliver highly personalised service to members, help them reach the right outcome, identify needs, solve problems, and actively promote the bank’s products and services.
This is a full-time role based on a 38-hour work week. The successful candidate must also be prepared to work extra hours when needed and may be required to work at any branch in the Mackay region.
What you will do
You will support members through customer-focused banking conversations, identify suitable solutions, and contribute to sales and service outcomes while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will bring proven sales experience, cash handling experience, strong communication skills, and excellent customer service ability. You should be comfortable adapting to change, have strong attention to detail, and be able to build rapport quickly while working well as part of a supportive team. Experience in the finance industry is preferred but not essential.
