Role Overview

We are looking for a Performance / Growth Marketing Manager to lead DTC acquisition for the direct-to-consumer channel. The role is centered on delivering profitable customer growth by planning, running, and scaling paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, and related channels while staying tightly aligned with unit economics.

What Success Looks Like

  • Generate incremental revenue while keeping CAC within the approved limits for each category and SKU.
  • Build a scalable acquisition system that reflects gross margin, inventory availability, and lifetime value.
  • Keep brand, prospecting, and remarketing demand clearly separated.
  • Deliver reporting that proves incrementality and stands up to scrutiny.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage Google and Meta account structures based on category, margin band, and acceptable CAC levels.
  • Convert core business metrics such as AOV, gross margin percentage, and LTV into bidding approaches like tCPA, tROAS, and value-based bidding.
  • Own Merchant Center feed strategy, including product taxonomy, custom labels, lifecycle tags, and margin-based tagging.
  • Continuously improve performance through search term analysis, creative experimentation, audience segmentation, and funnel-level troubleshooting.
  • Apply strict controls for budget pacing, CAC limits, SKU pausing, and adjustments for returns or refunds.
  • Build and manage incrementality tests such as geo-based and audience holdout experiments, then compare attributed revenue with true incremental revenue.
  • Work with analytics, technology, and merchandising teams to maintain clean data, accurate conversion values, and inventory alignment.
  • Prepare reporting that supports decisions on incremental revenue, margin contribution, and scale potential.

Experience Profile

The ideal candidate brings 4 to 8 years of experience in DTC performance or growth marketing, with strong ownership of Google Ads. Prior exposure to personal care, beauty, or FMCG DTC businesses is important. The role also calls for hands-on expertise in value-based bidding, feed-led growth, and experimentation methods.

Must-Have Mindset and Working Style

  • Always evaluates performance through a unit-economics lens, prioritizing margin-adjusted incremental revenue over vanity metrics.
  • Builds organized account structures that reflect the real business setup across category, margin, and funnel stages.
  • Questions platform attribution by default and is comfortable designing controls, holdouts, and reconciliation methods.
  • Works with operational discipline in daily execution, including feed quality, bid management, negatives, pacing, refunds, and inventory sync.
  • Takes full ownership of results, acts decisively, documents reasoning clearly, and corrects course quickly when needed.
