About the Role
We are collaborating with a rapidly expanding, founder-led consumer company headquartered in Dubai that seeks to recruit its inaugural People & Culture Manager. This is a special chance to establish and develop the people operations within a growing organization, working closely with the founders to craft an exceptional employee journey. Unlike conventional HR positions, this role focuses on building high-performing teams, designing structure, nurturing culture, and supporting employees at every stage of their career path.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, ongoing support, and offboarding.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding process that ensures new hires are effectively prepared for their roles.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee assistance, coaching, and consultation.
- Lead performance evaluations, probation assessments, and facilitate employee growth initiatives.
- Promote engagement activities and contribute to fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
- Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and maintain fair employee relations professionally.
- Provide strategic advice to founders regarding people-related strategies, organizational growth, and enhancing employee experience.
- Ensure all HR policies and procedures comply with UAE Labour Law standards.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in People & Culture management, HR business partnering, or employee experience roles.
- Background working in fast-paced, high-growth, or founder-driven business environments.
- Proficiency in managing employee relations and handling challenging conversations.
- High emotional intelligence, approachable demeanor, and strong organizational skills.
- Passion for imposing structure, refining processes, and nurturing a positive culture.
- Ability to balance empathy with enforcing accountability.
