About the Role
Join the Bureau of Meteorology's People Connect team within the Organisational Development Program as a Payroll Processing Officer. This role is part of the Enterprise Services Group, responsible for delivering operational Human Resource (HR) advice and services to the Bureau's diverse workforce across Australia. The work is dynamic, engaging, and presents unique challenges.
About You
We are seeking a motivated public service pay and conditions specialist with a robust work ethic to join our Payroll Team. You will be instrumental in managing employee entitlements under the Bureau's Enterprise Agreement, utilizing SAP HRMS for processing, providing expert advice to employees, and preparing relevant documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Process employee entitlements accurately and efficiently using SAP HRMS.
- Interpret and apply conditions stipulated in the Bureau's Enterprise Agreement.
- Provide clear and concise advice to employees regarding pay and conditions.
- Prepare and manage correspondence and documentation related to payroll and entitlements.
- Work independently to meet team objectives and output requirements.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with SAP HRMS.
- Proven ability to understand and interpret complex employment conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively.
