About the Opportunity

Compensation and Working Hours

The position provides a basic hourly wage of €15.41, with additional pay including a Sunday premium of €3.44 per hour, unsociable hours allowance of €20.00 per shift, overtime paid at 1.5 times after 96 hours worked within a fortnight, and bank holiday pay at double time when applicable, all according to the ERO order. The role requires working 36+ hours weekly, with shifts scheduled between 07:00 and 19:00 from Monday through Sunday.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct foot patrols to maintain safety and security at various sites.
  • Operate and monitor CCTV and access control systems to identify potential threats.
  • Manage alarms, handle incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while remaining vigilant and security-focused.
  • Accurately record and report incidents or suspicious activities in real-time.
  • Coordinate with emergency services to resolve issues efficiently.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ experience working in corporate security within Ireland.
  • Possession of a valid PSA Security Guarding license; a Security Guarding Monitoring license is desirable.
  • Five years of verifiable employment and personal background screening.
  • Fluent oral and written English skills at least at C1 level.
  • Strong communication skills, professionalism, and ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Excellent observation skills to detect unusual activities.
  • Conflict resolution and crisis management abilities to handle tense situations effectively.
  • Proficient in report writing and documentation according to legal and company standards.
  • Familiarity with security technologies such as CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and external emergency services.
