Job description

About the Opportunity

Credent Partners USA assists with recruiting patients for medtech and biotech clinical trials throughout the United States via the Medtack Patient Recruitment Platform. A core part of this work is the Patient Enrollment Center, where the team connects with people who have already shown interest in taking part in specific studies. The company is looking to add empathetic, detail-focused professionals to the team as Patient Enrollment Counselors on a flexible, zero-hours contract.

Role Overview

In this position, you will oversee the full pre-screening process for applicants and serve as a primary contact, helping them through each step with professionalism, clarity, and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reach out to pre-screened applicants through phone and online communication channels.
  • Explain details about specific clinical trials in a clear and accurate manner.
  • Handle applicant queries with empathy and a professional approach.
  • Carry out pre-screening interviews approved by an IRB.
  • Assist with obtaining relevant medical records whenever needed.
  • Maintain accurate applicant records and ensure steady follow-up across the process.

Candidate Profile

The ideal person is self-driven and comfortable doing meaningful work that supports clinical research. You should be capable of working independently as a contractor within a remote, US-based team and be dependable, ethical, and trustworthy.

Requirements

  • Strong self-motivation, integrity, and reliability, backed by solid personal references.
  • Ability to work independently as a remote contractor for a US-based team.
  • Good organizational skills, careful attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
  • Confidence using computers, web-based platforms, and remote communication tools.
  • A thoughtful and professional manner when speaking with members of the public.
  • High-speed internet connection.
  • A dedicated computer appropriate for professional remote work.
  • US residency.

Preferred Background

Experience or education in Public Health, Life Sciences, Nursing, or Healthcare Administration is helpful, but not required.

Work Environment and Benefits

The current team includes mature, college-educated professionals who often manage work alongside family or personal responsibilities. The role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to contribute to important clinical research without being office-based.

Benefits include fully remote work, self-managed flexible hours, contract-based zero-hours engagement, and a supportive team with complete training and technology support.
