The business places strong value on its people and aims to support them with a competitive rewards and benefits offering.

Role Overview

This permanent, full-time opportunity is for an experienced and motivated Parts Advisor to join a friendly, professional parts team in Dublin. The role is central to keeping the parts department running smoothly, supporting both retail and workshop customers, and helping maintain high standards of service and organisation.

The position offers a competitive basic salary with bonus potential and a 42-hour working week. Standard hours run from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with Saturdays from 9:00am to 1:30pm on a rota basis.

Key Duties

  • Support the Parts Manager with everyday operational tasks.
  • Carry out vehicle health checks for the workshop when needed.
  • Make sure parts are stored correctly and stock levels are properly controlled.
  • Process incoming orders and keep returns current and accurate.
  • Handle telephone enquiries from customers.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service across retail and workshop areas.
  • Ensure customer requests are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
  • Complete administrative work accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Record and report any stock inconsistencies to the Parts Manager.

Skills and Experience Needed

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar parts or automotive support role before and will bring strong communication skills, solid computer literacy, and a practical approach to day-to-day tasks. The role also requires someone who can collaborate well with others while being equally capable of working on their own initiative.

You should be confident dealing with people, able to communicate clearly in both verbal and written form, and comfortable balancing team-based work with independent responsibility.

Benefits

The company offers a range of rewards and wellbeing benefits, including structured pay progression, increasing annual leave linked to length of service, family leave enhancements, life assurance, private medical cover, digital GP access, second medical opinion support, bereavement support, eye care vouchers, Cyclescheme, discounted gym membership, and retail shopping discounts. The business also provides brand and management training to help develop careers and support progression.

Additional Information

Employment is subject to a 6-month probation period from the start date. Before employment begins, relevant checks will be completed, which may include verification of recent employment, address, credit history, and a standard criminal record check. If the role requires driving, a driving licence check will also be undertaken.

The employer is committed to equal opportunities and to maintaining an inclusive workplace where employees are respected and supported. The company also notes that its data processing and privacy practices are explained in its privacy notice, which should be reviewed before applying.
