Job description
Role Overview
The Partner Education Specialist helps districts and educators get the most value from Ellevation’s products by delivering thoughtful, high-quality learning experiences. This position is part of the Partner Education and Digital Success function within Marketing and reports to the Manager of Partner Education. It is a strong match for someone with a K–12 background who wants to bring experience with English Learner programs into a partner-facing role.
Ellevation is looking for someone who can confidently facilitate sessions, strengthen instructional design capability over time, and contribute to a team that directly influences partner success. Preference is given to candidates in Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones.
About You
You bring confidence as an educator and facilitator, and you enjoy helping others gain comfort with new tools and workflows. You are dependable, curious, open to feedback, and committed to improving your craft. You take responsibility for your sessions and deliver on commitments.
You also work well in collaborative environments, communicate clearly with cross-functional teammates, and know when to ask for help versus work independently.
What You’ll Do
- Lead prepared partner learning sessions using established agendas, materials, and facilitation approaches.
- Run standard live and virtual sessions effectively while maintaining clarity and confidence.
- Build comfort with core Ellevation product workflows and address partner questions appropriately.
- Handle difficult facilitation moments with professionalism and a partner-first mindset.
- Use coaching and feedback to steadily improve facilitation quality.
- Apply company templates and standards to create and maintain training materials.
- Draft accurate learning content for core product workflows with guidance from senior teammates.
- Support both self-paced and live learning assets using approved tools and formats.
- Incorporate partner feedback and internal coaching into learning material improvements.
- Own assigned trainings and tasks, delivering work on time and to a high standard.
- Maintain strong expectations for accuracy, timeliness, and partner satisfaction.
- Understand how your work supports adoption, retention, and renewal goals.
- Collaborate within Partner Education and across teams as needed.
- Share progress updates clearly and follow through consistently.
- Collect observations from sessions and offer ideas to improve team processes and learning experiences.
- Share partner insights that help connect learning efforts to adoption and satisfaction metrics.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of Ellevation’s complete ELD solution.
- Deliver foundational product use cases with accuracy and confidence.
- Stay up to date on product releases through internal learning resources.
- Identify understanding gaps and route complex technical questions to the right place.
Success Milestones
1 month: Build a clear understanding of the partner education model and how the role supports partner success. Complete onboarding, observe live sessions, and begin product learning while building relationships with your manager, team, and key partners in Digital Success and Customer Success.
3 months: Start co-facilitating partner sessions, using team templates and facilitation standards. Develop a working understanding of partner portfolios and regional learning needs, and show steady follow-through on commitments.
6 months: Facilitate assigned partner sessions independently and confidently, handle typical challenges without escalation, and contribute ideas for content improvement based on field experience.
1 year: Function as a trusted, self-directed contributor to education programs, deliver strong partner satisfaction, and use partner insight to inform strategy, content, and team planning.
Qualifications
Required
- Background in K–12 education such as teaching, coaching, or instructional support, with a solid understanding of English Learner programs and instructional practice.
- Proven ability to lead effective adult learning sessions in both live and virtual settings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage a wide range of educator audiences professionally.
- Comfort using digital learning tools such as LMS platforms, webinar software, and content creation tools.
- Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple sessions and tasks at the same time.
- A solution-focused approach and comfort working through ambiguity.
- Ability to travel about 50% for in-person partner training and internal team gatherings, with more travel during peak periods.
Preferred
- Experience with Ellevation’s ELD solution or a similar education technology platform.
- Background in edtech, SaaS, or a partner-facing education or training role.
- Experience with instructional design or curriculum development grounded in adult learning principles.
- Ability to use data and partner feedback to reflect on and improve session quality.
