Position Summary
This role requires consistent and accurate management of all shipping and inventory handling operations adhering to company safety policies related to shipping, receiving, and inventory corrections.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and surpass store and individual performance goals.
- Execute company initiatives aligned with management standards.
- Confirm accuracy of incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Validate all shipping and receiving documentation including POS reports and delivery slips.
- Ensure proper management of store stock, whether received or transferred.
- Verify correct product sizing.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked inventory area.
- Collaborate with store management to address errors or discrepancies from stores or headquarters.
- Relay stock replenishment requirements to district sales, distribution, and buying departments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Embody and promote the Little Burgundy culture within the team.
Job Requirements
- Preferred prior management experience in retail.
- One to two years experience in retail sales.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service capabilities.
- Motivation to thrive in a dynamic retail setting.
- Bilingualism required in Quebec (as applicable).
- Willingness to engage in ongoing learning and training programs.
- Complete training leading to managerial roles as applicable.
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts.
- Physical ability to climb, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capacity to stand for extended durations.
- Must be at least 18 years old, with age requirements varying by location for part-time roles.
- Basic English proficiency needed for effective communication with customers and headquarters.
