Part Time Retail Assistant

Role overview

Repco is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant in Pukekohe for a Sunday shift from 9:00am to 5:00pm, totalling 7.5 hours. What you will do

In this store-based role, you will help customers find the right automotive products and provide practical guidance from the moment they enter the store through to checkout. The job involves strong customer service, sales support, and day-to-day store upkeep.

• Keep safety front of mind for yourself, your teammates, and customers.
• Deliver helpful, genuine service and create positive customer experiences.
• Use automotive knowledge and customer service skills to support sales outcomes.
• Maintain high standards in merchandising and showroom presentation.
• Handle stock tasks such as receiving, dispatching, and storing goods.
• Work cooperatively as part of a positive and supportive team.
• Carry out safe lifting, bending, and climbing as required by the role.

What we are looking for

This position is highly customer-oriented and best suited to someone who either has experience in automotive retail or a genuine enthusiasm for the automotive industry. Experience from parts supply, mechanical workshops, or similar environments is especially valuable. You should be comfortable in a retail or sales setting, able to deal with different types of customers, and bring strong communication skills along with a professional phone manner. A team-focused, can-do approach and a passion for service are important. Product training will be provided, but automotive interest or knowledge will be a strong advantage.
