The company’s mission is to provide patients with compassionate access to high-quality medical cannabis in a professional healthcare setting, backed by strong service standards and patient-first care.

FLUENT is focused on building a workplace where strong performers can grow, contribute, and improve continuously. The organization values feedback, teamwork, and opportunities that help employees develop while supporting its role in the medical cannabis industry.

Role Overview

The Curator serves as a sales-driven front-line team member and the initial contact for customers entering the store. In this role, you will help create enthusiasm around Fluent products, guide patients to suitable options, and share the information needed for safe product use. The position is centered on understanding patient needs, reviewing medical recommendations, and helping turn first-time visitors into loyal customers through excellent service and effective selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver strong customer service while working toward or surpassing sales targets.

  • Create positive customer interactions through consistent face-to-face engagement.
  • Use available tools and resources to evaluate customer needs and health-related considerations.
  • Refer unresolved matters to the correct supervisor or manager.
  • Support delivery activity in the role of Health Educator when needed.
  • Complete inventory counts and prepare sales reporting.
  • Document each customer conversation and any follow-up actions taken.
  • Track customer concerns that require further research and follow through as needed.
  • Maintain solid knowledge of the product catalog and the benefits of medical cannabis.
  • Keep the Director of Retail Operations, General Manager, and/or Customer Service Manager informed about issue status.

  • Background in sales is required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is needed.

Working Style and Environment

This role is based in a professional office setting and regularly uses standard office tools such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

The position may involve extended periods standing at a workstation, walking, using hands and arms to operate tools or controls, and working on an iPad, laptop, or desktop while reading, reviewing, analyzing information, and preparing patient recommendations or summaries. The job also requires speaking and hearing frequently, strong written and verbal communication, occasional lifting or moving of moderate weight up to 25 pounds, and consistent attendance.

Schedule

The position can involve long working hours and frequent weekend shifts.

Preferred Background

Additional Requirements
