Role Summary

As a Curator, you will serve as a primary sales representative and the initial point of contact for customers entering the dispensary. Your role involves generating enthusiasm for Fluent products, offering suitable solutions, and educating patients on the safe and effective use of our offerings. You will contribute to a unique customer experience at the Fluent dispensary. By reviewing doctor's recommendations and collaborating with your team, you will identify patient needs and recommend appropriate products. Your effectiveness in sales will be key to converting every Fluent visitor into a loyal customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service while achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Drive increases in dispensary, team, and individual sales over time.
  • Provide excellent customer experiences in diverse settings and thrive on continuous interaction.
  • Utilize available resources to effectively assess customer health conditions and requirements.
  • Escalate any unresolved issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution.
  • Support delivery operations by acting as a Health Educator.
  • Conduct inventory counts and generate sales reports.
  • Document all customer interactions and subsequent actions taken.
  • Follow up diligently on customer issues that require further investigation.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the product guide and a thorough understanding of the benefits of medical cannabis.
  • Communicate with the Director of Retail Operations, General Manager, and/or Customer Service Manager regarding the status of ongoing issues.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Prior customer service experience is desirable.
  • Proven sales experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Work Environment

This position operates within a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands

Employees must be able to perform essential job functions successfully. This includes regularly speaking and hearing, frequently standing for extended periods, walking, using hands for fine motor tasks, reaching, and operating computers (iPad, laptop, desktop) for extended periods to review information and provide recommendations. Effective verbal and written communication is necessary. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required. Regular and predictable attendance is mandatory.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This role involves regular long hours and frequent weekend work.

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum of an Associate degree.
  • At least one year of sales experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in a dispensary setting is a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age, as per state law.
  • Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Must pass a drug screening.
