Key duties
- Review legal instruments for completeness and proper execution.
- Carry out preliminary examination of legal documents and related materials.
- Support litigation staff, attorneys, and other paralegals with functional and administrative tasks.
- Check whether actions are correct under government rules, procedures, and related standards.
- Research records to identify any conditions that could prevent action from moving forward.
- Help process case data and evidence and assist with discovery production work.
- Contribute to the preparation of trial and hearing presentations, including demonstrative materials.
- Gather and organize statistical information for reports as needed.
- Assist the Administrative Division with project work and provide coverage for routine administrative duties during employee absences.
- Use a variety of software tools and databases, including Microsoft Suite.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- A two-year undergraduate degree or an equivalent qualification.
