Role Overview

The Packer Driver will have a pivotal position in delivering exemplary service and supporting customers while representing InPost. This position offers the chance to grow your career in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Load the delivery vehicle safely and in accordance with legal regulations and company standards.
• Execute timely and safe delivery of newspapers and magazines to customers, ensuring punctual performance.
• Secure the vehicle and cargo throughout transportation.
• Collect and process previous day's orders with accurate completion of related documentation.
• Manage inbound supplies by efficiently breaking down, allocating, and loading stock.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures to facilitate smooth operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Holder of a full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
• Possess a minimum of three years driving experience with a clean record (no disqualifications such as NI, DD, or DR).
• Good local knowledge of commercial addresses and streets in the area.
• Physically capable and fit to handle the demands of multi-drop driving and warehouse duties.
• A positive, hardworking attitude and adaptable approach to job responsibilities.
• Willing to consent to background checks including drug and alcohol screening upon successful application.

Working Conditions

• Location: InPost Kendal, Unit 2 Westmorland Business Park, LA9 6NS
• Shift Days: Wednesday through Sunday
• Shift Hours: Midnight (00:00) to 07:30 AM
• Hourly Wage: £13.22
