Job description
About the Role
This role is focused on building and scaling early-stage operations for an AI Agent product across Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, the position will help shape market entry, user acquisition, localization, and the feedback process that connects users with product teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Set the operating plan for the AI Agent product in Southeast Asia, including which markets to prioritize, how to group users, which growth channels to use, how localization should evolve, and the overall execution rhythm.
- Bring in initial users in target countries and run market-specific operations through content, community, and influencer-led channels, while testing and validating the most effective growth approaches in each market.
- Use user research and market understanding to learn how knowledge workers and business users in Southeast Asia adopt AI tools, then translate those insights into localized use cases, templates, and product feedback that can be shared back with the product team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in user operations, content operations, community operations, or growth operations; experience working in Southeast Asian markets is preferred.
- Practical experience handling content, community, and influencer or KOL activities, with the ability to independently plan and run campaigns.
- Exposure to AI products, productivity software, SaaS, or cross-border ecommerce tools, along with a solid grasp of user workflows.
- Strong ability to interpret user behavior and data, and to improve operations based on activation, retention, and related usage metrics.
- Good English skills, fluent Chinese for coordination with teams based in China, and additional language ability in Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese, or other Southeast Asian languages is advantageous.
- Experience launching early user programs or driving cold-start growth in a new country or market is preferred.
Location
The position is based in Singapore and supports key Southeast Asian markets.
