Role Summary
This position is a full-time remote opportunity for an Outreach Worker based in New Delhi, Delhi, India. The role focuses on connecting with individuals and community groups to better understand their needs, communicate available programs or services, and develop dependable relationships. Work will involve virtual and phone-based outreach, arranging referrals, keeping detailed case records, and following up so participants receive the right support. The job also includes working with internal teams and outside partners, gathering feedback from community members, and contributing ideas to strengthen outreach methods and materials. In addition, the Outreach Worker will support online events, learning sessions, and campaigns aimed at improving awareness and participation in Atvis Media initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to individuals and communities through calls and digital channels to understand their needs and share relevant information.
- Build trust-based relationships through active listening and clear, respectful communication.
- Coordinate referrals and follow-ups to help participants access suitable support and services.
- Maintain precise case notes and track participant progress in an organized manner.
- Work closely with internal colleagues and external partners to support outreach goals.
- Collect community feedback and use it to improve outreach content, approaches, and materials.
- Assist in planning or delivering virtual events, educational programs, and awareness campaigns.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging with people from varied backgrounds.
- Background, training, or experience in social work and community outreach.
- Case management capability, including documentation, referral tracking, and participant follow-up.
- Self-directed work style suited to a remote setting, with solid time management and prioritization skills.
- Comfort using common digital tools such as email, video meeting platforms, shared documents, and CRM or case-management software.
- Clear commitment to equity, inclusion, and non-discriminatory service delivery.
- Education or experience in social services, public health, psychology, communications, or a similar area is an advantage.
