Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic finance professionals dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and creative solutions to our guests. This opportunity is available at the Beach Rotana Hotel located in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and log every food and beverage transaction in the POS system within the outlet.
- Ensure all meals consumed by employees or complimentary/entertainment services offered to guests are recorded in the POS system.
- Record opening and closing check numbers for shifts in the Night Auditor's logbook, ensuring sequential use and accountability of all checks.
- Manage guest checks in the POS system including entering orders, splitting and transferring tables, and settling payments via cash, room charges, credit cards, or city ledger.
- Compile and reconcile the cashier's summary against the Micros POS readings at the end of shifts.
- Match transaction lists from credit card machines with physical checks and Micros readings.
- Prepare deposit envelopes, record deposit amounts on the cashier’s deposit sheet, and submit envelopes to the Front Office safe depository in the presence of a witness who also signs the deposit sheet.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in hotel management or accounting, coupled with relevant experience in a hotel environment. Proficiency in English and computer skills are essential. Familiarity with Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN systems is considered advantageous.
