We are collaborating with a prominent global financial markets company to recruit an OSC Specialist. This role focuses on supporting vital market data, analytics, and trading platforms in a continuous follow-the-sun operational model.
Primary Responsibilities
The position entails providing production support, constant system monitoring, managing incidents, diagnosing complex technical problems, and coordinating with internal technology teams as well as external clients to maintain platform reliability and deliver excellent service.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 4 years in application or production support roles within financial markets.
- Experience supporting systems related to market data, trading activities, equities, options, or futures.
- Proficient in Linux/Unix administration and adept at troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of SQL queries and database systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Competent in incident management, conducting root cause analyses, and client interaction.
- Advantageous to have experience with APIs, file transfer mechanisms, and Agile workflows.
