Job description

About the role

At 2degrees, the mission is to fight for fairness. The company is looking for someone who enjoys helping people develop and wants to contribute to a workplace where the team is customer-focused, courageous about change, accountable, and genuinely cares for its people.

As an Organisational Development Consultant, you will join a skilled OD team and play a key part in strengthening capability, confidence, and leadership across the business. The role focuses on practical initiatives that help employees succeed now and prepare for the future, with strong emphasis on building AI capability and digital confidence.

You will work across a wide range of development activity, including leadership programmes and early-career initiatives. The role involves partnering with leaders and the wider People team to understand needs, shape solutions, and deliver outcomes that create value for both employees and the business. This position offers variety, influence, and the chance to collaborate with a highly capable team.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver organisational development initiatives that strengthen capability across the business.
  • Support leadership development, early-career programmes, and other learning interventions.
  • Help build employee confidence in AI, digital tools, and future-focused ways of working.
  • Work with leaders and the People team to identify needs and translate them into practical solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, learning sessions, and development programmes that are engaging and effective.
  • Use data, feedback, and insights to assess needs and measure the success of initiatives.
  • Manage projects and multiple priorities while maintaining strong organisation and delivery standards.

Requirements

  • Proven background in organisational development, capability development, learning, or talent development in a complex environment.
  • Experience contributing to AI, digital capability, or future-of-work initiatives.
  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to build trust and influence a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to design and facilitate workshops, learning experiences, and development programmes.
  • Comfort using data and feedback to diagnose needs and evaluate outcomes.
  • Well-developed project management and organisational skills with the ability to balance competing demands.
  • A curious, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Perks and benefits

  • Flexible working arrangements to help you do your best work.
  • Strong learning and career development opportunities.
  • Staff discounts on 2degrees products and services, including a highly attractive phone plan.
  • Supportive colleagues who challenge ideas, back each other, and keep the atmosphere light.
