About the role
As an Order Management Specialist, you will be responsible for handling customer orders accurately and on time, while supporting Account Managers and reseller partners. The position covers full order administration in SAP, with a strong focus on meeting vendor and internal requirements and maintaining precision throughout the process. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, address issues proactively, and manage order timelines to support customer service-level commitments. This role suits someone highly detail-focused, comfortable in a fast-moving environment, and motivated by process improvement and better customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage incoming customer orders in SAP from start to finish, ensuring they are complete and error-free.
- Check order information such as pricing, licensing, and hardware needs against vendor and company rules.
- Complete order processing within the agreed turnaround time, with a target of two hours after receiving all required information.
- Track and maintain ETA reporting for project-related orders so customer SLA commitments are met.
- Build strong product and vendor-process knowledge through training and ongoing learning.
- Work with Account Managers, resellers, and other internal teams to answer and resolve order-related questions.
- Spot discrepancies in orders and take action to reduce errors, delays, and sales write-offs.
- Support the wider team by sharing knowledge, helping colleagues, and stepping in as backup when needed.
- Take part in cross-training to improve team capability and coverage.
Requirements
- Prior experience in order management, administration, or a comparable operational position.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or a similar ERP platform.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail, with a focus on preventing mistakes.
- Ability to handle large order volumes under strict deadlines.
- Good understanding of vendor workflows, licensing, and product-related requirements.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams.
- A proactive mindset for solving problems and improving processes.
- Ability to work on your own while also contributing effectively to a team.
Perks and benefits
- Opportunity to work in a fun, professional, and challenging international business environment.
- Chance to join a global technology solutions leader and a Great Place to Work certified organisation across multiple countries in EMEA and APAC.
- Access to LinkedIn Learning, training courses, and hands-on learning to support professional and personal growth.
- Exposure to a large organisation with long-term career growth opportunities in both local and international roles.
- A workplace culture where contributions are recognised and valued.
