Role Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Hyperion Consultant to join a prominent organization based in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will possess extensive expertise across the Oracle Hyperion suite, demonstrate exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and be adept at collaborating with both finance and IT stakeholders. Fluency in Arabic is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, administer, develop, and support Oracle Hyperion solutions.
- Design and optimize Oracle Hyperion Essbase cubes, including writing calculation scripts and business rules.
- Configure and manage Oracle Hyperion Planning applications for budgeting, forecasting, workflow, and security.
- Oversee financial consolidations, currency translations, and financial reporting using Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
- Utilize FDMEE/FDQM for data integration, including mapping, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into effective Hyperion solutions.
- Manage the full project lifecycle from analysis and design through to deployment and support.
- Perform system upgrades, migrations, apply patches, and conduct regular maintenance.
- Integrate Hyperion with various ERP systems such as Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion, or SAP.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the Hyperion environment.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams, finance departments, and senior management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion.
- Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion Essbase, including cube design and optimization.
- Strong experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning functionalities.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
- Expertise in FDMEE/FDQM for data integration.
- Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes.
- Familiarity with Oracle databases, SQL, data warehousing, and ETL concepts.
- Experience with Hyperion system maintenance and upgrades.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Native or fluent Arabic speaker with excellent communication skills.
