Eyewa is hiring customer-oriented Opticians for its Eastern Region locations.
Role Overview
In this position, you will help customers choose eyewear that matches their prescription needs, day-to-day lifestyle, and personal style. You will offer professional optical support, take accurate measurements, and create a high-quality in-store experience while upholding Eyewa’s standards for product quality and eye health.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide customers toward frames and lenses that fit their needs and preferences.
- Read optical prescriptions accurately and suggest suitable lens options.
- Measure optical details such as pupillary distance and fitting dimensions.
- Explain lens varieties, coatings, and different eyewear solutions to customers.
- Carry out eyewear adjustments, fittings, and simple repairs when necessary.
- Provide excellent service and develop strong customer relationships.
- Keep the store neat and aligned with company presentation and operating standards.
- Contribute to day-to-day store tasks and work closely with the team.
Mandatory Requirement
- A valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) registration, along with professional classification as an Optician, is required.
Qualifications
- Good working knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and optical dispensing practices.
- Ability to understand and work with optical prescriptions.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
- Careful attention to detail and sound problem-solving ability.
- Comfort working in a busy retail setting.
- Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when needed.
- Prior experience as an Optician in an optical retail environment is preferred.
