Role overview
This position sits at the core of warehouse operations. It offers the chance to oversee how work moves through the operation, helping ensure items are processed and dispatched to customers on schedule. As an Operations Lead/Supervisor, you act as the main contact for the team during the shift and help put management processes into practice. The role is practical and hands-on, giving you exposure to the tools and systems that keep operations running effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Track workflows, monitor on-site performance, and share shift updates with frontline managers to support smooth execution across shifts.
- Coach, support, and train associates so they can deliver strong service and complete their daily work effectively.
- Assist the Shift/Area Manager with improvement initiatives that strengthen processes, promote safety, and boost employee engagement.
- Partner with other teams to resolve recurring issues and provide support where key performance needs attention.
- Analyze data to find opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
Day-to-day work
In this role, you will be the go-to person for team members throughout the shift. You will help them follow established procedures and make sure the operation stays organized and efficient. The job is active and practical, with regular use of workplace tools and systems.
Basic qualifications
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with presentation ability.
- Experience preparing metric reports, reviewing data to spot issues, and explaining findings clearly.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Preferred qualifications
- At least 1 year of Amazon Amnesty Floor Monitoring experience.
- Ability to manage stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels.
- Background in technical support, engineering, or an operations setting.
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency.
