The Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce (WWRR) organization at Amazon works to reduce returns-related cost, waste, and defects while improving value for customers, the business, and the environment. Role summary
As a Data Analyst, you will break down complex business problems, uncover actionable insights, and spot opportunities through business intelligence, data mining, and visualization. You will work with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to improve operations, support decision-making, and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
This position requires someone who can independently drive issues to resolution, use multiple data sources and analytical approaches, and present insights in a concise, decision-ready format.
Key responsibilities
- Apply analytics and data mining methods to solve complicated problems and support business decisions.
- Use the right tools and approaches to identify risk and abuse patterns and help lower bad debt.
- Analyze customer behavior and suggest hypotheses for policy changes.
- Tackle analytical questions and communicate both the process and results clearly.
- Develop analysis for product launches and offer launch recommendations.
- Summarize findings, create dashboards and visualizations, and surface trends, anomalies, and key patterns.
- Partner with business, engineering, and other internal teams to align on priorities and deliver outcomes in the chosen area of focus.

Benefits and compensation
The base pay range for this role in Bellevue, WA is USD 80,200 to 97,400 per year. Compensation may also include sign-on payments and restricted stock units, with final pay depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
