Operations Supervisor

About the Role

HOYER Group's Middle East office in Al Jubayl is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee all operational processes related to the handling and filling of hazardous liquid chemicals. The role involves ensuring that day-to-day tasks are executed efficiently according to established plans and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 10 to 20 members across day and night shifts.
• Arrange transportation and tank operations to guarantee smooth execution of activities.
• Ensure all operations follow the guidance of the Operations Manager and comply with safety procedures.
• Schedule activities and maintenance to maintain continuous and effective operations.
• Prepare and submit detailed operational reports.
• Monitor operational processes, adjust parameters as needed, and promptly report issues.
• Operate equipment such as drum filling machines, forklifts, and weighbridges when required.
• Collect chemical samples from pipelines before filling procedures begin.
• Utilize resources, time, and space efficiently to implement best practices.

Safety, Quality, and Environmental Compliance

• Adhere strictly to plant safety, environmental protection, and quality standards including SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) protocols.
• Participate regularly in safety trainings and report any relevant incidents immediately.
• Apply knowledge of emergency response procedures and spill containment techniques.
• Ensure all activities are performed following PPE guidelines and safety work instructions.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

• Diploma or higher educational qualification.
• Basic understanding of materials and familiarity with heavy equipment like forklifts; forklift license is a plus.
• Proficient in English communication, including email correspondence.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in environments dealing with hazardous chemicals, including familiarity with MSDS and chemical compatibility.
