The organization is an expanding cake brand known for premium, handcrafted cakes made for all kinds of celebrations. With several branches across Saudi Arabia, the business is focused on consistently delivering strong flavor, high quality, and polished presentation. As the company grows, it is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to bring structure and efficiency to its expanding operations.

Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Operations Manager. The role is centered on running day-to-day restaurant activity across assigned outlets, making sure service quality, food standards, and hygiene expectations are always maintained. The position also includes team coordination, inventory oversight, cost control, process improvement, and support for new concept launches.

Key Duties

  • Manage daily operations across assigned locations and keep service delivery consistent.
  • Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and hygiene practices meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Plan and control staff schedules to support smooth operations.
  • Guide and supervise frontline teams while supporting coaching and performance management.
  • Track inventory, coordinate procurement, and maintain stock discipline.
  • Monitor operating expenses and help optimize labor and overall operational costs.
  • Introduce and maintain standard operating procedures to improve consistency.
  • Review performance indicators and use them to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Work with leadership on opening new concepts and scaling operations.
  • Coordinate training efforts and help ensure staff understand procedures and expectations.
  • Maintain compliance with local laws, health and safety rules, and internal company policies.
  • Support issue resolution and continuous improvement across outlets.

Candidate Profile

  • Background in pastry, bakery, or hospitality operations management with direct responsibility for store or unit performance.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, provide coaching, manage performance, and resolve conflicts.
  • Practical knowledge of stock control, purchasing, budgeting, cost tracking, and basic P&L review.
  • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and local health and safety compliance.
  • Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Clear written and spoken English; Arabic is a benefit.
  • Willingness to work on-site and be available during evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a similar field is preferred, though equivalent hands-on experience is acceptable.
  • Experience launching or expanding outlet concepts is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is beneficial.
  • Strong focus on labor-cost optimization.
