About the Role
We are recruiting a Junior to Mid-Level Terminal Operations Manager to join a rapidly expanding international logistics company that focuses on finished vehicle logistics. This role is located in Leipzig, Germany, and involves managing busy terminal operations as the company grows its presence across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee terminal activities with approximately 50 truck movements daily
- Lead and supervise a team of 5 to 10 operational employees
- Manage truck operations ensuring safety compliance and secure site management including coordination with landlords
- Promote and implement improvements in operations, cost efficiency, and IT or process advancements
- Progress towards the goal of stepping into general management responsibilities
Candidate Profile
- Fluency in both German and English languages
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or terminal operations
- Proactive leadership style with strong organisational and hands-on management capabilities
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary ranging between 45,000 and 55,000 euros
