Role Overview

The company is looking for a driven Operations Associate to join the Cash and Position Reconciliation team. This role involves managing daily reconciliation of cash and position data across numerous transactions, various accounts, multiple counterparties, and asset classes. The incumbent will utilize several internal and external systems, working closely with teams in Trading, Technology, and other Operations groups to guarantee accuracy and promptly resolve discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily reconciliations of cash and position data among internal systems, external platforms, and Prime Brokers.
• Investigate and resolve a large volume of reconciliation discrepancies across multiple platforms and systems.
• Escalate and follow through on unresolved discrepancies to ensure timely closure.
• Maintain precise transaction records in both internal and third-party systems.
• Detect and analyze process inefficiencies and collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
• Respond promptly to queries and special requests from Trading, Technology, and other Operations teams.

Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in operations or financial services, preferably involving Equities, Credit, Derivatives, and/or Rates.
• Familiarity with DUCO or comparable reconciliation tools is advantageous.
• Self-motivated individual with strong analytical abilities, solid communication, and effective problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to accuracy in environments with high transaction volumes.
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• A cooperative and team-oriented approach, capable of working across Trading, Technology, and Operations teams.
