About the Role
Ing.Polin e C. S.p.A. is looking to hire a detail-focused Operations Analyst at the entry to mid-level stage. This position involves supporting business operations through comprehensive data assessments, streamlining processes, and tracking performance metrics to boost operational efficiency and overall business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine operational datasets to uncover patterns, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) through creating dashboards and operational summaries.
- Assess current business practices and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Assist in automating processes, optimizing workflows, and promoting continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform root cause analysis on operational problems and develop viable solutions.
- Collaborate with multiple departments including operations, finance, logistics, HR, and management teams.
- Support forecasting, capacity planning, and resource distribution tasks.
- Maintain meticulous operational data records and reporting systems.
- Prepare presentations and detailed reports aiding management decision-making.
- Help implement operational projects and initiatives aimed at improving performance.
- Ensure reliability, consistency, and compliance of data according to internal standards.
- Conduct on-demand analyses to back strategic and operational decisions.
Candidate Requirements
- Preferred backgrounds include experience in operations, business or data analysis, consulting, finance, logistics, or related areas.
- Exceptional analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel for data handling, pivot tables, and reporting tasks.
- Knowledge of data visualization or analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with capacity to manage extensive datasets.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of handling multiple priorities.
- Independent and cooperative work approach suitable for a fast-moving environment.
- Prefer candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or related disciplines.
