About the Opportunity

This role is for an Operation Theatre Incharge at a multi-specialty hospital in Cooch Behar, West Bengal. The hospital is recognized for advanced medical care, contemporary infrastructure, and round-the-clock emergency support, serving patients from North Bengal and surrounding areas.

Role Summary

The selected professional will be responsible for managing the smooth day-to-day functioning of the operation theatre setup across multiple specialties. The position requires close coordination of surgical activities, strong control over sterilization and infection-prevention practices, and adherence to quality standards such as NABH.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate daily OT operations across General, Orthopaedics, Cardiac, Neuro, and Gynae units. Ensure efficient surgical scheduling, timely preparation of theatre resources, and proper coordination with surgeons, anesthesiology teams, and support staff. Maintain high standards of sterilization, infection control, patient safety, and documentation. Oversee equipment readiness, manage OT staff performance, and support compliance with hospital quality protocols, including NABH requirements.

Candidate Profile

The hospital is looking for an experienced OT professional who has worked across multiple operation theatre departments, especially General, Ortho, Cardiac, and Neuro. The ideal candidate should be confident in sterilization processes, NABH-related procedures, team leadership, and running a multi-specialty OT efficiently.

Eligibility

Candidates with a Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology or a B.Sc in any specialization are eligible to apply.

Additional Information

The compensation offered for this role is INR 6,00,000 to INR 8,00,000 per year.
