Job description

A Day in the Role

As an Onsite Logistician, you start by preparing the work area and checking that the setup matches the Lay Down Area Plan. Your work includes overseeing third-party services, receiving and inspecting incoming deliveries, managing tool handover, arranging the spare parts needed for the job, and keeping stock records up to date so the project team has fast access to the resources it needs. You also stay in close contact with site managers and technicians to resolve issues and keep logistics running without disruption.

Impact You Will Have

  • You will help keep site logistics running efficiently so the project can progress on schedule.
  • You will improve coordination between different stakeholders, supporting smoother teamwork and fewer delays.
  • You will make sure the project team receives the right tools and parts when needed, helping protect delivery timelines and project goals.
  • You will follow EHS rules and safe handling practices, including the correct treatment of hazardous materials, while meeting strict health, safety, and quality expectations.
  • You will use English at a medium level and read technical drawings as part of the role.
  • You must be prepared to travel and work globally in a flexible arrangement, with around 75–80% of the time spent outside Hungary.
  • You should work well in diverse, multicultural teams and show strong commitment to field service work.

What You Need to Bring

  • Strong planning and organizational ability, with careful attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills for working with technicians, site managers, and customers.
  • Understanding of warehouse systems and logistics workflows.
  • The ability to stay effective under pressure and adjust to changing project needs.
  • Exposure to EHS rules and customs clearance procedures is an advantage.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach to solving problems while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
