About the Organization
Zen Kashi Cancer Hospital is a focused cancer-care center in Varanasi that provides comprehensive oncology services, including medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, chemotherapy, cancer surgery, diagnostics, ICU support, and individualized treatment plans delivered by a collaborative clinical team.
Role Overview
We are hiring enthusiastic and patient-focused Oncology Consultants across medical oncology, radiation oncology, and surgical oncology. The role involves delivering evidence-based cancer care, working closely with specialists from other disciplines, and helping ensure strong treatment outcomes for every patient.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and oversee the treatment of patients with cancer.
- Design tailored treatment plans aligned with evidence-based oncology protocols.
- Work in coordination with medical, surgical, and radiation oncology teams to support integrated care.
- Explain diagnoses, treatment choices, and follow-up plans clearly to patients and their families.
- Keep clinical notes and treatment records complete and up to date.
- Take part in tumor board reviews and multidisciplinary case discussions.
- Follow hospital SOPs, patient-safety standards, infection-control practices, and medical ethics.
- Contribute to audits, CMEs, research work, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
- Guide and support junior doctors and clinical staff as needed.
Eligibility
Candidates with any of the following backgrounds may apply:
- DM/DNB in Medical Oncology
- MD/DNB in Radiation Oncology
- MCh/DNB in Surgical Oncology
- MS in General Surgery with a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology
- MDS with a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology, subject to applicable regulations
- A valid registration with the Medical or Dental Council is required.
Experience
Applicants with 0 to 5 years of experience are eligible. Both newly qualified doctors and experienced consultants are welcome.
