Overview

Kore Recruiters is conducting a confidential executive search for an experienced Plant Manager to lead an established and financially sound U.S.-based manufacturing company. This role demands a hands-on leader to take full charge of the manufacturing facility, ensuring excellence in safety, production, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, quality, warehousing, and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive leadership over manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, warehousing, shipping, quality control, and supply chain operations.
  • Drive production performance while upholding rigorous standards for safety, quality, timely delivery, and cost management.
  • Develop and empower high-performing leadership teams through coaching, fostering accountability, and enhancing employee engagement.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to boost productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Cultivate a culture grounded in operational discipline, problem-solving, and ongoing learning.
  • Manage production scheduling and execution to reliably satisfy customer demands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to optimize inventory levels, production capacity, and resource plans.
  • Oversee capital improvement projects aimed at enhancing operational performance and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Use operational metrics and KPIs to identify improvements, resolve issues, and achieve sustainable business results.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, ideally at Plant Manager or similar senior operations roles.
  • Proven success managing multi-department manufacturing operations including production, maintenance, engineering, quality, warehousing, and supply chain functions.
  • Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
  • Track record of enhancing plant performance by leveraging KPIs, fostering employee engagement, and streamlining processes.
  • Experienced in leading organizational change, enforcing accountability, and mentoring emerging leaders.
  • Solid financial and operational skills including budget management, capital project oversight, and productivity enhancements.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across organizational levels.
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or related discipline.

Additional Information

This is a fully on-site role with no remote work option. The selected candidate will have significant autonomy with strong visibility within the company, partnering with senior leadership to drive strategic operational initiatives and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
