Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and assemble orders from various temperature-controlled zones to meet timely delivery commitments.
• Carefully pack orders ensuring correct product identification, quantity, and labeling details.
• Maintain stringent quality control by avoiding damaged products and selecting the freshest items.
• Properly interpret and handle all related documentation including pick slips, packaging, and shipping labels.
• Optimize packing efficiency to maximize container utilization while preserving product quality standards.
• Balance order fulfillment duties with customer service by addressing and resolving any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace; promptly address spills and debris; ensure all packing totes are free from contamination.
• Operate material handling equipment safely, conducting pre-use inspections as required.
• Uphold organizational values and participate in initiatives to improve processes, productivity, safety, quality standards, and working environments.
• Adapt flexibly to changing assignments driven by customer demands and delivery schedules.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $17.75 per hour.
