Key responsibilities

  • Arrange and oversee export shipments of breakbulk section, sheet piles, and billets from ports in the UAE.
  • Work closely with shipping lines, vessel agents, port officials, and internal teams to ensure cargo flows smoothly.
  • Follow vessel nominations, berthing plans, loading and discharge activity, and vessel turnaround performance.
  • Check that all export paperwork is complete, correct, and compliant, including bills of lading, invoices, customs papers, and certificates.
  • Track cargo movement from the yard to vessel loading and confirm that cargo is ready for shipment.
  • Coordinate with transport providers to ensure cargo reaches the port on schedule.
  • Keep demurrage, detention, port handling, and related logistics expenses under control.
  • Share daily operational status updates and flag any delays or risks in advance.
